Academic Competitions

Olympiads

Academic olympiads are a core pillar of StarBalkans. Through them, pupils test their knowledge, develop critical thinking, compete fairly, and represent Albania internationally.

StarBalkans organises national phases of academic competitions and supports qualified pupils on their journey to international finals. Every olympiad follows clear rules, a transparent registration process, organised testing, and regular communication with parents, pupils, and schools.

1

What are olympiads?

Academic olympiads are structured competitions where pupils demonstrate knowledge, problem-solving, and subject mastery at national and international levels.

2

Why they matter

They build confidence, academic discipline, and recognition — opening doors to further study, mobility, and international experience.

3

Which olympiads we organise

StarBalkans coordinates national phases and pathways linked to major international academic competitions, with clear calendars and communication for schools and families.

4

How registration works

Registration opens with published deadlines. Pupils and schools follow a transparent application process with published rules and guidance.

5

The national phase

National testing is organised across partner cities so talent from across Albania can compete closer to home — in around 15 cities.

6

How pupils qualify

Results and ranking criteria determine who advances. Qualified pupils receive support toward international finals.

7

International finals

Qualified participants represent Albania abroad, gaining intercultural experience and competing at global standards.

Achievements are recognised through medals, certificates, and public celebration of pupil success.

9
